Featuring a new artist every quarter, the Wall Project provides a space for artists to work freely with their chosen medium within Saskia Fernando Gallery.
This work by multi-disciplinary artist, Muvindu Binoy, presents his typical graffiti style that evolved from his doodles on smaller scraps of paper. An artist who works predominantly with film and digital collage, the Wall Project features his second such installation after working on walls for a music video during his recent residency in Colombo, organized by SFG and Hatch. An interesting transition occured for the artist, a free space where he could vandalize at his own will brought him back to using paint on surfaces.
