Muvindu Binoy is a self taught artist and independent filmmaker. As a digital artist, Binoy works with different subjects facing the Generation Y of Sri Lanka, using the letter ‘Y’ as a pun for his questioning of character and integration of the reality experienced in his artistic outcome. His artistic gaze is firmly fixed on the generational landscape, dissecting themes of gender dynamics, individual agency, and the perpetual tug-of-war between entrenched traditions and the liberating ethos of the digital epoch.
