This homecoming exhibition brings together classmates in Lasalle College of the Arts who saw an arts education as a pivotal point in their lives. Faced with differing challenges and a common passion to pursue the unknown in the arts industry, these schoolmates take time to reflect how the past 10 years have contributed to their current practice and success, and how they have differed in outlook towards art making since their school days.
The early 2020s had been a tumultuous one, and this brings to mind the need for reconnection not just with those closest to us, but also the connection with the self. As a mark of friendship, camaraderie, and critical self reflection, Be-Thought invites visitors to remember their own journeys, dreams and connections, through experiencing the recollections of this group of 10 friends connected through art making.
