PRSFG is pleased to present Anupa Perera’s first solo presentation as a represented artist at 138 Galle Road Colombo 03, Dreaming of Candies and Guns.

Perera’s still life paintings exist in a realm far removed from the tactile reality of the surroundings he captures. Characterised by a playful unpredictability the series delves into themes of political unrest and environmental concerns through quotidian objects. Perera’s work has been featured in both group and solo exhibitions at Colombo Art Gallery, Colombo (2021); JDA Perera, Colombo (2018); the Lionel Wendt Art Centre, Colombo (2024, 2022 and 2018); and Lanka Arts Council, Colombo (2008).
