Last Page of the Text Book: Muvindu Binoy
Saskia Fernando Gallery is pleased to present Last Page of the Textbook by Muvindu Binoy. The exhibition includes collage, digital collage and video installation. Binoy's narrative spreads across visual and graphical mixes, uncommon experiments with technology, and at times process disruption of tools, kneejerk met poetics on Instagram, loops and skits, scribbles on fine art and surfaces, extended playlists and films; often placing together the contrasts of the new and ancient, reality and myth, good and the ugly.
A podcast conversation between Muvindu Binoy and Rahaab Allana, Curator/Publisher of Alkazi Foundation for the Arts in New Delhi; Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society (London) and Honorary Research Associate at the University College, London (Department of Visual Anthropology), will be released on our website and via our Soundcloud channel on 22.12.20.
