In Thenuwara's work, delusion denotes the propagation of false ideologies, particularly of religious and nationalist nature, aimed at instilling fear and hatred in the public psyche and manipulating their sentiments to fulfill political objectives.
The work was exhibited in Delusion, Thenuwara's memorial exhibition that marked four decades of the 1983 anti Tamil pogrom.Exhibitions
